Beige is the colour of her mind.
What the others left behind won't seem to understand.
She's a bad girl, and the bad ways won't break her fall.
Find a way to survive. Her love is at her door.
I personally think it raw whenever answers, Shaun
Get you morbid answers filled with colourful tone,
When feelings have vibration.
Would it only surface if her feelings were mine?
Or have I fallen from the tree?
Have I died a twisted ecstasy? To be or not to be?
Fly. Take me upon a mooncloud
Where stars distant shine. Into the light tonight.
I want to fly. Take me upon a mooncloud.
Where stars distant shine, into the light tonight.
Impersonations persevere, holding on throughout the year.
Tell me yet, is this as good as this is gonna get?
Why would I, qualify it, cause your precious flow to hate?
And do I have to understand that?
When it seems as though you get lost in your soul
When the pressure comes.
Aren't you up to the mind that you're not alone?
Tell me, maybe?
I ought to know.
Emotional Numbness
An unexpected yet perfect color choice to describe mental detachment. Beige suggests not darkness or light, but a muted neutrality - the color of emotional numbness or protective disengagement. It's more evocative than saying "gray" because beige implies a deliberate withdrawal from vibrancy rather than mere depression.
Cosmic Transcendence
The album's most transcendent metaphor - escape through celestial imagery. "Mooncloud" suggests something impossible yet beautiful, a vehicle for leaving earthbound concerns. The repetition creates a mantra-like quality, expressing the deep human desire to transcend limitations through mystical or romantic elevation.
